- Please be sure you have read the Grant Guidelines and are familiar with the focus areas of the Covington Foundation. Be sure to review our grant history and selected grantees.
- The Marion Stedman Covington Foundation prefers to accept grant applications submitted through our website, but also accepts applications submitted by mail.
- Applications are to be submitted to the Foundation by March 1st and August 1st.
- After reading the guidelines and reviewing prior grantees, if you believe your project falls within our guidelines, follow these steps to complete a grant application.
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION
- Organizations should submit one copy of the application and requested attachments either through our website (preferred) or by U.S. Mail (postmarked by March 1st and August 1st). Please do not staple materials or place them in a bound notebook.
- Emails are sent to applicants (after the deadline date) noting receipt of the application and the approximate date of the Board Meeting.
- The Board of Trustees meets in May and October to consider grant requests.
- Emails will be sent to applicants informing them of the Trustees’ decision shortly after the meeting.

- Our grant application is available in fillable PDF format for you to easily fill out on your computer.
- Please fill out the application on your computer and submit the application and attachments through our website.
- We strongly encourage you to submit your application through our website, but still accept mailed applications at P.O. Box 29304, Greensboro, North Carolina 27429.
- If mailing your application, please submit color photographs either as high quality prints or on a USB drive.
